Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leeroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Verona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leeroy comes to the cage accompanied by Boondocks Theme Song. Verona has chosen Dawn Patrol by The Eliminators as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Leeroy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Verona lands a nice looking body shot.
Leeroy scoring well with a low kick there.
Leeroy swings for the body but Verona moves out of range.
Verona stalks Leeroy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leeroy's face. Leeroy staggers backwards, shaken.
Verona misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leeroy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Verona pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leeroy avoids the head kick by Verona.
Verona looks to throw the jab but Leeroy is out of range.

Leeroy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Verona did well to prevent Leeroy getting side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Leeroy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Verona is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Verona is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Verona bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Verona uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leeroy.
Leeroy throws a jab but it's blocked by Verona.
Leeroy connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Verona to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Leeroy!
