1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colt Riley! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley tries to clinch up. Riley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riley is looking to clinch but Fushibenda is avoiding it.
Fushibenda throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fushibenda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Riley cracks Fushibenda with a right hand to the side of the head. Riley misses with a series of wild punches.

Riley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fushibenda. Fushibenda looks to land a combination but Riley avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley takes a swing at Fushibenda's ribcage but misses. Fushibenda throws a hook to the side of Riley's head but Riley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fushibenda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Riley. Fushibenda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fushibenda looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Riley keeping full guard, as Fushibenda tries to pass. Fushibenda drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Riley dives on top into guard. Riley trying to control but Fushibenda is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fushibenda tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fushibenda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fushibenda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Riley is aware though and is defending well. Riley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Riley lands the left hand. Riley doesn't manage to clinch there - Fushibenda circles away.
Fushibenda thows a left - swing and a miss! Fushibenda slips a jab from Riley. Riley looks to land a right hand but Fushibenda moved out of range. Fushibenda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Riley pinned against the cage. Riley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fushibenda moves away from the strike by Riley. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colt Riley dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Riley looks to land a right hand but Fushibenda moved out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fushibenda. Fushibenda fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A decent looking cross lands there for Riley. Fushibenda shoots in for a takedown. Riley tries to close the distance and clinch but Fushibenda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Riley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Riley throws an overhand right that lands on Fushibenda's shoulder, as Fushibenda tries to avoid the shot. Fushibenda looks to score with a jab to the body but Riley is just out of range. Riley swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fushibenda decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Riley's guard. Riley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fushibenda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fushibenda trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fushibenda tries to free his leg and advance position but Riley is retaining full guard. Riley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Riley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Riley with a couple of short strikes. Fushibenda is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Riley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fushibenda is looking to improve his position but Riley isn't that keen on the idea. Fushibenda wants to hold on but Riley pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fushibenda is working to get back to half guard.
Riley cracks Fushibenda with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Riley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fushibenda looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fushibenda keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fushibenda is working hard here to advance position. Fushibenda regains half guard. Fushibenda tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fushibenda has hold of Riley's hands but Riley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fushibenda is staying active underneath Riley, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Fushibenda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Riley pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riley connects with a nice short shot to Fushibenda's temple. Riley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fushibenda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fushibenda looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colt Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Riley slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fushibenda's guard.

Riley connects with a couple of short punches. Riley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fushibenda wants to sweep but no luck. Riley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Fushibenda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley passes Fushibenda's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Riley scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Fushibenda throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Riley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Riley is nestled in close to Fushibenda, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Riley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Riley wants to take a breather but Fushibenda is having none of it. Colt Riley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Riley passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fushibenda! Fushibenda wants to hold on but Riley pushes him away. Jake Fushibenda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Riley controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Colt Riley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Riley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
