Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Martin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Mir! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir clinches up against the cage. Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mir smiles and moves away.
Mir drives through with a takedown into guard. Mir is fighting to break Jones's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jones keeping full guard, as Mir tries to pass. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mir seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mir stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Mir trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Mir wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones tries to clinch but Mir is having none of it. Mir throws a head kick that misses. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mir keeping busy on the bottom but Jones has passed one foot through into half guard.
Jones decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jones misses with a takedown and Mir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones wants to stand up but Mir is controlling him. Mir wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Mir slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mir tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mir has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mir advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mir sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones tries to hold on but Mir pushes him away. Mir trying to control but Jones is having none of it. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jones is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mir controlling from mount. Mir looking to secure an arm triangle but Jones defends it well. Mir controlling from the full mount. Jones is trying to reverse the position but instead Mir has taken his back - oops! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Mir dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mir showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Mir tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jones clinches up against the cage. Mir struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.
Jones prevents Mir from breaking the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Mir fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mir manages to break the clinch.
Mir is looking to clinch. A nice combination there by Jones.
Mir is rocked! Jones dances in with a quick combination. Mir is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Jones snaps Mir's head back. Mir stumbles backwards against the cage. Jones steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Mir's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Mir just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Jones!
