Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JJ Aldrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelemi Kakuno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelemi Kakuno acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldrich shoots in for a takedown but Kakuno shows good takedown defense. Aldrich scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Kelemi Kakuno has been cut. No luck for Aldrich with that takedown attempt. Kakuno misses with a kick to the body.
Aldrich wants to clinch up but Kakuno keeps it at a distance. Kakuno lands with a good body shot. Kakuno misses with a kick to the body.
Aldrich tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kakuno paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aldrich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kakuno tries to avoid it but Aldrich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kakuno to the ground. Kakuno escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Aldrich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aldrich has a takedown stuffed. Aldrich fails to land the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aldrich.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldrich avoids a kick to the body.
Kakuno misses with an uppercut. Aldrich tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kakuno swivels and escapes. Kakuno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kakuno misses with a low kick. Kakuno closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kakuno lands in his opponent's guard. Aldrich being controlled here, momentarily. Aldrich working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kakuno.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakuno controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kakuno's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kakuno with a nice head shot there. Aldrich can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kakuno controls the pace. Aldrich is breathing heavily. Kakuno has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. I looks like Kakuno might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kelemi Kakuno. Aldrich fakes the leg kick and cracks Kakuno in the body. Aldrich has his takedown stuffed and Kakuno counters by clinching up. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Aldrich tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kakuno smiles and moves away.
Kakuno checks a low kick from Aldrich. Kakuno shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kakuno was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kakuno lands a nice shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kakuno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kakuno scoring with strikes but Aldrich is staying in there. Kakuno looking to control and managing it successfully. Kakuno raining down shots from the mount! A nice elbow there by Kakuno. Kakuno lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kelemi Kakuno dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kelemi Kakuno's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters circling - Kakuno throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Aldrich slips under a jab. JJ Aldrich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kakuno swings for the body but Aldrich moves out of range.
Aldrich ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Aldrich on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kakuno misses the shot to the body. Kakuno is looking to score with low kicks. Aldrich tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Kakuno counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kakuno is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kakuno scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kakuno's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kakuno passes Aldrich's left leg - he's now in half guard. Aldrich flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kakuno moves nicely into side control. Kakuno working the head and body with strikes. Aldrich takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Check out the look on Kakuno's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakuno lands a few punches from side control. Kakuno in side control, just content to control the action for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldrich takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kakuno creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Kakuno staying calm. Kakuno landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldrich is trying to get back to half guard. Kakuno scores with a couple of short elbows. Kakuno in side control lands a decent elbow. Kakuno taking a breather here. Let's hope that Kakuno has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kelemi Kakuno. Kakuno tries to land a front kick but Aldrich steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kelemi Kakuno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kelemi Kakuno's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Kakuno feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kakuno working some strikes from top position. Aldrich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kakuno chips away with some ground and pound. Kakuno with a nice head shot there. Kakuno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aldrich swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kakuno is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kakuno advances position into side control! Kakuno is working Aldrich over with some ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Aldrich's face as Kakuno controls the position. Kakuno working the ground and pound. Kelemi Kakuno is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kakuno content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kelemi Kakuno. Aldrich avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kakuno looks for the body kick but Aldrich saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kakuno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Aldrich slips under a jab from Kakuno. Kakuno throws a low kick but Aldrich moves out of range easily. Aldrich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kakuno counters into the clinch. Nicely done. The referee is keeping an eye on Kakuno - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A body shot lands from Kakuno.
Kakuno slows down the pace here.
Aldrich drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kakuno pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Aldrich blocks the body kick.
Kakuno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Aldrich wants to clinch and Kakuno counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kakuno is taking a breather. Aldrich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight! Kelemi Kakuno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kakuno winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
