Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Justin Biber!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Emelianenko pinned against the cage. Emelianenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Emelianenko tries to clinch up.
Biber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emelianenko shoots in for a double leg but Biber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Biber throws a right and a left that both miss.
Biber fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Biber gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Emelianenko to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Emelianenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Biber circles away quickly and effectively.

Emelianenko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Biber not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Emelianenko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Biber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Emelianenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Emelianenko wants to control from the top but Biber keeps moving.

Biber has a closed guard, preventing Emelianenko from standing up.
Biber wants to sweep but no luck.
Biber can't keep his opponent in guard - Emelianenko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Emelianenko is keen to just control but Biber is a slippery customer.
Emelianenko takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Emelianenko seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Biber for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Fedor Emelianenko.

Biber uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Emelianenko.

Emelianenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Biber tries to sprawl out of it but Emelianenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Biber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with Biber, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes Biber against the cage but Biber circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Justin Biber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
