Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by tribal entrance. McBrody has chosen Get Back as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bill McBrody!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McBrody moves away.
Johnson takes a jab right on the kisser.
McBrody throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but McBrody is just out of range.
McBrody takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A good leg kick by McBrody.
Donk. McBrody catches Johnson right on the button with a cross.
McBrody misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. McBrody fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McBrody bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard.
Johnson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing McBrody from controlling successfully.

Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McBrody trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McBrody might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johnson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A low kick from McBrody misses
and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McBrody throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McBrody throws a leg kick
and Johnson counters with a left to the body.
Bill McBrody seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McBrody looks gassed!
McBrody keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johnson.

and Johnson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Johnson.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but McBrody is keeping the position.
