Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Duckkyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamil Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duckkyson comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shamil Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov instigates a clinch.
Magomedov goes for a takedown attempt but Duckkyson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Duckkyson throws a sloppy head kick and Magomedov moves out of range easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Duckkyson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Magomedov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Duckkyson connects with a nice short shot to Magomedov's temple.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duckkyson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Duckkyson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Magomedov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Magomedov has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Magomedov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duckkyson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Magomedov has Duckkyson in his guard.

Duckkyson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Duckkyson kicks Magomedov off and gets back to his feet.

Duckkyson scores with a knee to the head.
Duckkyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Magomedov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Magomedov stands up over Duckkyson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Duckkyson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Magomedov was covering up waiting for the punch and Duckkyson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Duckkyson wants to stand but Magomedov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Duckkyson slips nicely into half guard.
Duckkyson escapes and gets back to his feet.
Duckkyson doesn't manage to clinch there - Magomedov circles away.
Magomedov clinches up with Duckkyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Magomedov wants to break free but Duckkyson has control.

Duckkyson lands an elbow that stopped Magomedov in his tracks for a moment.

Duckkyson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Magomedov regains guard.
Duckkyson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Duckkyson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Magomedov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Duckkyson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Magomedov is pressed up against the cage. Duckkyson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Magomedov down to the mat. Magomedov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rory Duckkyson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Duckkyson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Magomedov rolls with it to try and escape but Duckkyson cranks on the arm and Magomedov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
