Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Balrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Woolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Balrock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balrock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Woolf swivels and escapes. Woolf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Balrock sprawls well initially but Woolf persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Balrock throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Balrock has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Woolf is working away from the top position though. Woolf wants to control but Balrock is keeping him busy. Woolf wants to pass the guard but Balrock is defending well. Balrock desperately trying to maintain half guard. Balrock wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balrock wants to control but Woolf is keeping busy.
Woolf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Balrock checks a leg kick. Balrock lands with a nice combination. Woolf backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balrock is looking to clinch but Woolf is avoiding it.
Woolf scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Balrock tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Woolf wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Balrock misses with an elbow from the bottom. Balrock is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Woolf is controlling him well. A lull in the action here as Woolf stalls from top position. Balrock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Woolf throwing shots but missing, from side control. Balrock is letting Woolf control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Balrock looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Woolf with a lazy takedown attempt and Balrock counters with a takedown into side control. Woolf is looking for a sweep. Woolf is not content to let Balrock control the position. Woolf is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. You can see the frustration on Woolf's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Balrock in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balrock trying to control the action but Woolf is working from the bottom. Balrock has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Balrock is breathing heavily. Woolf shoots in but Balrock avoids the takedown attempt easily. Woolf looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tim Balrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Woolf.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Balrock closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Balrock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Balrock is nestled in close to Woolf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Balrock wants to control but Woolf is keeping him busy. Balrock perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Balrock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Woolf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tim Balrock. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Woolf. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Balrock dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Woolf misses with a takedown and Balrock counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Balrock. Balrock breaks the clinch.
Woolf shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Balrock is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Woolf is controlling him. Woolf tries to free his leg and advance position but Balrock is retaining full guard. Balrock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Woolf trying to control but Balrock is working from the bottom. Balrock working a defensive guard here.
Woolf wants to control from the top but Balrock keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Balrock doesn't succeed with the takedown and Woolf counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Woolf. Woolf postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Woolf wants to pass the guard but Balrock is keeping the position. Woolf loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Balrock has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balrock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balrock scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Woolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Balrock swivels though and keeps the full guard. Balrock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Balrock fails in his attempt to clinch. Woolf gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Balrock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Balrock looking to pass the guard. Balrock slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balrock tries to free his leg and advance position but Woolf is retaining full guard. Balrock trying to control but Woolf is working from the bottom. Woolf wants to get back to his feet but Balrock is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Woolf tries to land a sweep but no joy. Balrock's corner is telling him to maintain position. Balrock trying to control the position from guard on top but Woolf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Balrock with a lazy takedown attempt and Woolf counters with a single leg into guard. Balrock didn't expect that. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Woolf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Balrock controlling the position. Balrock is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Woolf drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Balrock manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Woolf has Balrock in his guard. Woolf pulls Balrock in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ian Woolf will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Balrock doesn't succeed with the takedown and Woolf counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Woolf seems to be working for a kimura but Balrock defends the submission attempt. Balrock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Balrock wants to get back to his feet. Balrock looking for submissions off his back. Woolf frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Balrock wants to control but Woolf is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woolf lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Woolf looking to control but Balrock is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Woolf is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Balrock has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Balrock is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee warns Balrock that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Balrock tries to hold on but Woolf pushes him away. Balrock is looking to improve his position but Woolf isn't that keen on the idea. BOOM! Woolf connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Balrock regains half guard. Woolf is pressing down on Balrock's thigh, looking to free his foot. Balrock is holding on for now. Balrock tries to get to full guard but Woolf has control of the leg. Woolf is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balrock is trying to control but can't.
Balrock is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Woolf scores with a couple of nice shots. Woolf is keen to just control but Balrock is a slippery customer. Balrock regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Woolf. Woolf throwing strikes but missing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Balrock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Woolf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Balrock to the mat! Balrock manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woolf looking to sit in guard and control but Balrock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Balrock is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Woolf looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Woolf working a defensive guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! Ian Woolf comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Woolf has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
