Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khero LoneWolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LoneWolf has chosen Hero as his entrance music. Khero LoneWolf will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wrestling Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khero LoneWolf!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fighters circling - LoneWolf throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Beast throws out a loose jab but LoneWolf uses good head movement to avoid it.
Beast really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as LoneWolf checks a leg kick.

Beast shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beast showed some decent athleticism there.
LoneWolf wants to get back to his feet.
Beast wants to get back to his feet.
LoneWolf is refusing to be controlled, as Beast sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beast controlling the pace.

Beast is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Beast wants to stand up but LoneWolf manages to regain full guard.
Beast will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Beast looking to sit in guard and control but LoneWolf gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
LoneWolf wants to control from the top but Beast keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LoneWolf connects with a couple of short punches.
LoneWolf pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beast is keeping the position for now.

LoneWolf gets to his feet. Beast looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

LoneWolf closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - LoneWolf lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
LoneWolf wants to get up but he can't break Beast's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
LoneWolf pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beast is keeping the position for now.
LoneWolf won't allow Beast to sweep him here.
Beast wants to stand and escape but LoneWolf is having none of it.
LoneWolf trying to stand up but can't free himself from Beast's guard.
Beast is breathing heavily.
Beast is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
LoneWolf on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
LoneWolf is staying active underneath Beast, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Beast is controlling the pace.
Beast sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. LoneWolf defending well though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Khero LoneWolf will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


LoneWolf gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Beast counters with a nice double leg into side control. LoneWolf won't be happy with that.

Beast goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, LoneWolf rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Beast's guard! Nice work there by LoneWolf!

Beast is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
LoneWolf sitting in guard here, content to control.
Beast looking to control.
Beast is really struggling to control LoneWolf but he's trying to hold on to the position.
LoneWolf is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
LoneWolf thows a big elbow that misses.
LoneWolf looking to pass the guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Beast tries to keep at a distance but LoneWolf has taken the fight into the clinch.
LoneWolf wants a takedown.
Beast is trying to work for a single leg takedown but LoneWolf pulls him back up using the underhooks.

LoneWolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
LoneWolf connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Beast throws a big right hand that misses.
LoneWolf not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Beast stops LoneWolf from standing up.
Beast is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Beast missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Beast controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Beast wants to control from the top but LoneWolf keeps moving.
LoneWolf has his hands on Beast's head, controlling the position.
LoneWolf is looking to stand up but Beast isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrestling Beast dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


LoneWolf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beast sprawls well. Beast wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. LoneWolf gets slowly back to his feet.
Beast tries to close the distance and clinch but LoneWolf swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
LoneWolf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beast sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten LoneWolf somewhat.

Beast shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Beast was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Beast tries to control but LoneWolf wriggling away.
LoneWolf is looking to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by Beast.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Beast tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Beast is landing with some decent strikes but LoneWolf is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
LoneWolf gets back to half guard.
Beast wants to control but LoneWolf is keeping him busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Beast seems to be working for a kimura but LoneWolf defends the submission attempt.
Beast throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
LoneWolf tries to kick Beast off but Beast keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Beast wants to control but LoneWolf is keeping him busy.
LoneWolf moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Beast wants to control from the top but LoneWolf keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
LoneWolf manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Beast manages to get himself to full guard.
Beast keeping moving, preventing LoneWolf from controlling successfully.
LoneWolf wants to get up but he can't break Beast's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Beast looking to hit a scissor sweep but LoneWolf is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Beast shoots in but LoneWolf avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
LoneWolf thumps Beast with a low kick.

and Beast counters with a nice double leg into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wrestling Beast showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Beast has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
