Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rex Munroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Bailey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Munroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Bailey!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown by Bailey or perhaps it was just good defense by Munroe which made him look bad.
Munroe lands with a straight right. Bailey didn't see that one coming.


It looks like Bob Bailey has been cut.
Bailey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Munroe.
Munroe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bailey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bailey showed some decent athleticism there.
Munroe is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Rex Munroe will probably get the nod.

Bailey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bailey wants to take a breather but Munroe is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Munroe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
