Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dole Lapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladsislas Wshivtsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dole Lapper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dole Lapper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vladsislas Wshivtsev! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lapper shoots in but no luck this time. Lapper has a takedown stuffed. Wshivtsev tries to close the distance and clinch but Lapper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lapper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wshivtsev tries to avoid it but Lapper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wshivtsev to the ground. Wshivtsev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dole Lapper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wshivtsev throws a right hand that Lapper ducks under and follows up with a left that Lapper also avoids with ease. Wshivtsev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wshivtsev misses with a takedown attempt - Lapper sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lapper shoots in for a takedown but Wshivtsev shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wshivtsev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lapper doesn't seem bothered though. Lapper shoots in for a double leg but Wshivtsev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lapper is breathing heavily. Wshivtsev gets caught flat footed, as Lapper shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wshivtsev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lapper's guard. Wshivtsev trying to control but Lapper is working from the bottom. Wshivtsev gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lapper shoots for a double leg takedown but Wshivtsev sprawls well. He's pushed Lapper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wshivtsev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wshivtsev misses with a two punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lapper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wshivtsev swivels and escapes. Lapper tries to clinch up but Wshivtsev circles away and keeps his distance. Lapper wants to clinch. Lapper misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lapper scores to the head and body with a nice combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Lapper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lapper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lapper is working for a guillotine from mount but Wshivtsev frees his head quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wshivtsev gets back to half guard. Wshivtsev controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lapper with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lapper wants to free his trapped foot but Wshivtsev is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wshivtsev trying to control here.
Wshivtsev is holding on to half guard well. Wshivtsev is staying active underneath Lapper, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lapper slows the pace down in half guard. Wshivtsev wants to sweep but Lapper has passed to side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dole Lapper dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wshivtsev throws a nice looking combination but Lapper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lapper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wshivtsev swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lapper moves in looking to clinch but Wshivtsev pushes him off. Lapper throws a leg kick but Wshivtsev moved away. Lapper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wshivtsev counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lapper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lapper dodges the punch combination from Wshivtsev.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lapper wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wshivtsev fails with a takedown attempt. Wshivtsev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lapper. Lapper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lapper closes the distance and clinches up with Wshivtsev, looking for a takedown. Lapper pushes Wshivtsev against the cage but Wshivtsev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dole Lapper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wshivtsev throws a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wshivtsev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lapper.
Lapper throws a body punch but Wshivtsev moves out of range. Lapper fails in his attempt to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lapper. Lapper tries to clinch and Wshivtsev counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wshivtsev trying to control but Lapper is working from the bottom. Lapper trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Wshivtsev stopping the sweep attempt from Lapper. Lapper has his foot on Wshivtsev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wshivtsev works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lapper has control of Wshivtsev's left arm, preventing Wshivtsev from doing any damage. Wshivtsev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lapper not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lapper goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wshivtsev misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lapper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lapper showed some decent athleticism there. Wshivtsev controlling the position well. Lapper prevents Wshivtsev from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladsislas Wshivtsev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Lapper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wshivtsev! Wshivtsev tries to lock up and control but Lapper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wshivtsev might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lapper kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wshivtsev can't escape the position.
Lapper lands a heavy elbow. Lapper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lapper prevents Wshivtsev from getting the reversal. Wshivtsev tries to hold on but Lapper postures up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wshivtsev regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wshivtsev trying to control but Lapper postures up.
Wshivtsev works his way to full guard. Good work. Lapper stopping the sweep attempt from Wshivtsev. Lapper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wshivtsev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lapper controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wshivtsev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lapper! Wshivtsev tries to control but Lapper wriggling away. Wshivtsev looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lapper is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lapper tries to hold on but Wshivtsev pushes him away. Lapper is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Wshivtsev controlling the pace for now. Vladsislas Wshivtsev has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lapper is working to get back to half guard.
Lapper tries to hold on but Wshivtsev postures up. Wshivtsev looking to control but Lapper is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lapper working to try and regain half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Vladsislas Wshivtsev. Well Wshivtsev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
