The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
oreilly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ribeiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Danga de danga de dang - oreilly scores with a four punch combination!
Ryan oreilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribeiro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from oreilly.
oreilly is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ribeiro cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

oreilly wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ribeiro.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ribeiro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ribeiro looks to score with a jab to the body but oreilly is just out of range.
Ribeiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. oreilly tries to avoid it but Ribeiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag oreilly to the ground. oreilly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with oreilly but oreilly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
oreilly lands with a nice combination. Ribeiro backs away looking to recover.
Ribeiro moves in looking to clinch but oreilly pushes him off.
oreilly misses with a series of wild punches.
Ryan oreilly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ribeiro goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
oreilly pushes Ribeiro off but Ribeiro dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ribeiro is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ribeiro hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
