The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mokoena lands with a right hand.
Evans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mokoena sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Evans somewhat.
Mokoena looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Evans dodges the punch combination from Mokoena.
Mokoena moves in looking to clinch but Evans pushes him off.
Mokoena tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Mokoena.
