Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Lau! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Lee. Brad Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice cross by Lee. Lee moves into the clinch. Lee successfully pulls guard.
Lau controls from within his opponent's guard. Lau tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lee controls Lau momentarily but Lau frees himself. Lau prevents Lee from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brad Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Lau. Lau gets slowly back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lau takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Lau shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lau throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lau off to one side. Lee scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Lee scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Lee takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Lau moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lee with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A good leg kick by Lee. Lee lands with a right hand. Lau will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brad Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Lau. Lau takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lau drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee takes the fight into the clinch. Lau tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Lau drops back down to his feet.
Lee has Lau pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lau manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lau fails to pull guard.
Lee is trying to force a seperation but Lau has the dominant position. Lee jumps guard but Lau stands there with Lee around his waist. Lee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lau gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lee scores with a jab to the jaw. Lau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away. Lee thumps Lau with a low kick. Lee pushes Lau up against the cage in a clinch. Brandon Lau has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lau trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lauis looking to pass into half guard but Lee pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lee is in guard. Lee sitting in guard here, content to control. Brad Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lau has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Lau's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Brad Lee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
