The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adelar clinches. Adelar wants a takedown but no success here.
Adelar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Marciliano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Marciliano is really stuck here.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marciliano lands a head shot. Marciliano closes the distance and clinches up with Adelar, looking for a takedown. Marciliano pushes Adelar against the cage but Adelar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Marciliano tries for a takedown but Adelar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Adelar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. Adelar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Marciliano! Adelar trying to control but Marciliano is having none of it. Marciliano regains half guard. Marciliano tries to bum rush Adelar with a series of wild strikes but Adelar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Marciliano tries to clinch but Adelar is having none of it. Adelar dodges the punch combination from Marciliano.
Adelar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marciliano is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Adelar wants to control from the top but Marciliano keeps moving.

Adelar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marciliano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Marciliano being controlled here, momentarily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marciliano closes the distance and clinches up with Adelar, looking for a takedown. Marciliano throws a nice looking combination but Adelar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Esteynid Adelar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. You can see the frustration on Marciliano's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adelar tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Marciliano is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Adelar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marciliano walks away with a smile on his face. Adelar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esteynid Adelar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marciliano has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marciliano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Adelar should have avoided that one. Jab from Marciliano. Marciliano loads up on a big right hand but Adelar slips the punch. Adelar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Marciliano has had enough of the clinch but Adelar keeps him there for the moment. Marciliano prevents a takedown attempt there.
Marciliano is looking to break free of the clinch but Adelar has double underhooks. Adelar decides to pull guard. Marciliano wants to pass the guard but Adelar is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adelar keeping moving, preventing Marciliano from controlling successfully. Adelar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marciliano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Marciliano wanted to stand there but Adelar had control of the position. Marciliano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adelar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marciliano has managed to get both his arms back between Adelar's legs - danger averted. Marciliano wanted to stand there but Adelar had control of the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Breno Marciliano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Marciliano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
