Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Lukyayenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Lukyayenko! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lukyayenko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lukyayenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Power throws a series of punches but Lukyayenko avoids them all with ease. Power shoots in but Lukyayenko avoids the takedown attempt easily. Power stalks Lukyayenko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lukyayenko's face. Lukyayenko staggers backwards, shaken. Lukyayenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Power circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Lukyayenko. No joy for Power on that attempt. Power shoots in and bounces Lukyayenko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Power loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Power drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Power jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Power with a flurry of punches that miss. Power passes easily into side control. Nice work. Power is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lukyayenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power tries for a kimura but Lukyayenko is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power wants to control but Lukyayenko is keeping him busy. Power has an Americana. Lukyayenko didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Power is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Power hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Robert Power!
