PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dino Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laudrup comes to the cage accompanied by Zoo Station. Adams has chosen Rush - Limelight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Dino Adams enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hans Laudrup!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dino Adams!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laudrup waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Adams.
Laudrup rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Laudrup connects with a solid leg kick.
Laudrup is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adams.
Laudrup tests Adams's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Laudrup looks to throw the jab but Adams is out of range.
Adams tries to clinch but Laudrup moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Adams.
Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. Laudrup tries to sprawl out of it but Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Laudrup manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adams wants to clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Laudrup darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Adams tries to clinch there but Laudrup circles away.
Laudrup swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Laudrup throws a series of punches but Adams avoids them all with ease.
Laudrup keeps the fight on the outside.
Adams avoids the head kick by Laudrup.
Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Adams needs to keep his hands up - Laudrup had a free shot at his head there.
Adams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Laudrup looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Laudrup misses with the combination.
Adams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laudrup defends it nicely.
Adams wants to clinch up but Laudrup keeps it at a distance.

Laudrup lands a left and a right that send Adams crashing to the mat, dazed. Laudrup thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Adams is rocked!

It looks like Dino Adams has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adams shoots in for a double leg but Laudrup sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hans Laudrup has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dino Adams.
Laudrup is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adams.
A jab from Laudrup does it's job there.
Adams is still on wobbly legs! Can Laudrup finish him?
Adams is looking to clinch.
Adams seems to have recovered his senses.
Adams is trying desperately to land a takedown but Laudrup is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Adams.
Laudrup bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Adams's head.
Laudrup cracks Adams with a hook to the temple - Adams is on wobbly legs here! Laudrup swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Adams falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Laudrup wins by TKO!
