Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Mcnichol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcnichol's entrance music is AC/DC - Back in Black. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcnichol was well out of range. Poor timing from Schmidt.
Mcnichol avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Schmidt lands a left and a right that send Mcnichol crashing to the mat, dazed. Schmidt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Drew Mcnichol has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schmidt is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mcnichol hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
