Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Markus Mac! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morgan wants it to stay on the feet. Mac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morgan circles away. Mac does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mac showed some decent athleticism there. Morgan moves into full guard.

Morgan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mac is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morgan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morgan has escaped and now he's on top! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mac's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mac can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan trying to pass the guard but Mac defending well. Mac looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Morgan seems to be working for a kimura but Mac defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morgan is thwarting Mac's attempts to control the position. Mac is trying to get back to full guard. Mac looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mac on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Morgan throws an overhand right that lands on Mac's shoulder, as Mac tries to avoid the shot. Mac tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it. Mac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morgan leaves Mac with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dexter Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Mac. Mac throws a nice looking combination but Morgan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Morgan feints and then cracks Mac's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mac down. A telegraphed right hand from Mac misses the target. Some wild striking there from Mac.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mac drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mac throws and elbow that misses. Morgan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mac's guard. Nice move by Morgan! Morgan wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving. Mac looking for a sweep. Not yet Mac, not yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dexter Morgan will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mac connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Morgan's hands. Mac will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mac throws a sloppy head kick and Morgan moves out of range easily. Mac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morgan tries to avoid it but Mac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morgan to the ground. Morgan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Morgan throws a series of punches but Mac moves out of range. Mac is looking to clinch. Mac tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morgan swivels and escapes. Mac closes the distance and clinches up with Morgan, looking for a takedown. Mac pushes Morgan against the cage but Morgan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dexter Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Mac. Mac lands a jab-cross combination. Mac dives in and grabs Morgan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morgan pushes down on Mac's head and hops out. Nice cross by Mac. Mac uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morgan. Mac rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morgan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it. Markus Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mac misses with the combination.
Mac is looking to clinch. Mac scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Morgan manages to get back to half guard. Morgan is trying to stand up here but Mac is controlling him well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mac is working for a kimura but Morgan is defending it quite comfortably.
Mac content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mac is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Morgan sees it coming and defends easily.

Mac is looking for a kimura but Morgan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mac to get the leverage. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morgan slaps away a takedown attempt from Mac, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mac throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. Morgan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mac. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mac.

Morgan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Mac shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well. Mac shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely. Morgan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A jab from Morgan finds it's way through Mac's defenses. Dexter Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Morgan throws a series of punches but Mac moves out of range. Morgan avoids the body shot from Mac.
Mac shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morgan sprawls well. Morgan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mac gets slowly back to his feet. Mac dodges the punch combination from Morgan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Morgan throws a series of punches but Mac avoids them all with ease. Morgan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Mac shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mac is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morgan is just riding it out for now. Mac eventually gives up the hold. Mac passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Morgan! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Markus Mac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mac to score with a decent uppercut. Mac will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mac throws a combination that misses and Morgan counters with a three punch combo that has Mac backing up. Mac nods at Morgan to acknowledge the strikes. Morgan throws a right hand that Mac ducks under and follows up with a left that Mac also avoids with ease.

Mac misses with a takedown attempt and Morgan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mac's knee momentarily. Mac displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Dexter Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morgan. Mac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mac tries to free his leg and advance position but Morgan is retaining full guard. Mac drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mac jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mac wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Markus Mac comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mac has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
