Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krendal Svorak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Thiago Silva Song blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Svorak darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva pushes Svorak off looking to stand but Svorak dives back in and keeps control.
Silva won't allow Svorak to pass to mount.
Svorak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Svorak stops Silva from getting back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Svorak shoots in.
Svorak missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Svorak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Silva really wants to buck Svorak off and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Silva is trying to get back to his feet but Svorak has full control of the position and if anything, Silva has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Svorak has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Silva! Can he survive? No! He's out! Svorak gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
