Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carcaju MeioPesado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carcaju MeioPesado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Junior! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MeioPesado pinned against the cage. MeioPesado gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. MeioPesado avoids the head kick by Junior.
Junior tries a head kick but it misses.
MeioPesado gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Junior to score an easy takedown into full guard. Junior won't allow MeioPesado to sweep him here. MeioPesado is working hard here to advance position. Junior wants to control from the top but MeioPesado keeps moving. Junior looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior preventing the sweep. Junior throwing strikes from guard but MeioPesado blocks nicely. MeioPesado will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Junior stopping the sweep attempt from MeioPesado. MeioPesado avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. MeioPesado avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
MeioPesado moves out of range of the leg kick from Junior. Junior fails in his attempt to clinch. MeioPesado leaves Junior with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. MeioPesado shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than MeioPesado was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! MeioPesado lands a big elbow. MeioPesado thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. MeioPesado has control of Junior's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Junior regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Junior tries to hold on but MeioPesado pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MeioPesado fails to move to back control. MeioPesado looking to finish Junior with some ground and pound. This is bad for Junior! MeioPesado mounts Junior! Really nice guard pass there! MeioPesado wants to finish this one by submission but Junior is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from MeioPesado. MeioPesado is breathing heavily. Junior keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Junior slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Junior is trying to control but can't.
Junior moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. MeioPesado won't allow Junior to sweep him here. MeioPesado wants to pass the guard but Junior is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carcaju MeioPesado dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Junior misses with a takedown attempt and MeioPesado counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Junior wants to control but MeioPesado is keeping busy and won't allow it. MeioPesado wants to pass to mount but Junior is defending the position. MeioPesado wants to advance to full mount but Junior doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Junior is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MeioPesado is controlling him. MeioPesado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Junior is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MeioPesado trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Junior manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! MeioPesado keeping moving, preventing Junior from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior wants to stand and escape but instead MeioPesado has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Junior looking to hit a scissor sweep but MeioPesado is one step ahead there. MeioPesado has gone for a leg lock! Junior slips out almost immediately though and dives into MeioPesado's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Junior trying to control the position from guard on top but MeioPesado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MeioPesado is trying to keep Junior in close.
Junior trying to control but MeioPesado is working from the bottom. Junior thows a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Junior pushes down on MeioPesado's leg and manages to get into half guard. Junior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but MeioPesado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Junior is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Junior controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Junior is trying to work for a kimura but MeioPesado is defending well.
Junior decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Junior darts in trying to clinch and MeioPesado counters with a nice double leg into side control. Junior won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carcaju MeioPesado dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A nice leg kick lands there from Junior. MeioPesado looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Junior! MeioPesado looking to take Junior's back but Junior rolls and after a scramble, Junior ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Junior to escape a tricky position. Junior wants to control from the top but MeioPesado keeps moving. Junior throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior slips nicely into half guard. Junior has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MeioPesado holds on for dear life, controlling Junior's posture momentarily. Carcaju MeioPesado overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Junior cracks MeioPesado with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MeioPesado is squirming around, avoiding Junior's attempts to control the action. Junior with the ground and pound from mount. The referee warns MeioPesado that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
MeioPesado is trying desperately to improve position. Junior working for a submission but MeioPesado is keeping him at bay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MeioPesado is in all sorts of trouble here.
Junior putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Junior lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Junior landing strikes from the mount and MeioPesado is in trouble! BOOM! Junior connects with a massive shot to the dome!

And that's the end of the fight! Carlos Junior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think MeioPesado has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
