Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristopher Kabong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarvis Lipovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kristopher Kabong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarvis Lipovsky! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lipovsky throws out a loose jab but Kabong uses good head movement to avoid it. Kabong moves out of range of the strikes. Kabong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lipovsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Kabong. Kabong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lipovsky misses with a wild body shot. Kabong keeps the fight on the outside. Kabong lands with a straight right. Lipovsky didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Jarvis Lipovsky has been cut. Kabong lands with a nice body punch. Kabong scores with a sloppy right hand. Lipovsky should have avoided that one. This has been an exciting period of action! Lipovsky throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Kabong looks to score with a jab to the body but Lipovsky is just out of range. Lipovsky misses with a wild body shot. Lipovsky fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jarvis Lipovsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Lipovsky misses its intended target. Lipovsky avoids the body shot from Kabong.
Kabong throws a series of punches but Lipovsky moves out of range. Lipovsky throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Kabong to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kabong misses with a body shot.
Kabong looks to land a right hand but Lipovsky moved out of range. Lipovsky throws a low kick but Kabong avoids it. Lipovsky misses with a hook to the body
and Kabong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Good shot there by Kabong.
That has opened up Jarvis Lipovsky's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lipovsky misses with a shot to the body and Kabong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kabong lands a nice shot to the body.
Lipovsky looks gassed! Kabong ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kabong throws a head kick that misses. Kabong connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lipovsky tumbling to the canvas! Kabong pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lipovsky was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kristopher Kabong!
