Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Templeton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Templeton has chosen Mudvayne-Scream With Me as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Templeton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Both fighters circling a little - Templeton finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Templeton fails in his attempt to clinch. Templeton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Templeton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carr's calf. Templeton tries to close the distance and clinch but Carr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carr pushes Templeton up against the cage in a clinch. Templeton tries a knee to the head but Carr blocks it.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Templeton is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Carr is defending well for now. Templeton with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Templeton tries to clinch but fails miserably and Carr counters with a series of strikes. Templeton will be more careful next time no doubt. Templeton closes the distance but Carr moves to the side and Carr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Levi Templeton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Templeton lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Carr's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Carr duly obliges. Left hook, right uppercut from Carr. Templeton closes the distance but Carr moves to the side and Carr counters with a series of strikes. Templeton will be more careful next time no doubt. A head kick from Templeton lands but Carr takes it in his stride. Templeton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Carr counters with a three punch combo that has Templeton backing up. Templeton nods at Carr to acknowledge the strikes. Carr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carr gets in close and instigates a clinch. Carr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Templetons head. Carr tries to land a knee to the head but Templeton blocks with his arms.

Templeton throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Carr blocks it with crossed arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. With the fighters up against the cage, Carr throws an elbow but misses. Carr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Carr circles away from the clinch attempt and Carr counters with a nice low kick that buckles Templeton's knee momentarily. Templeton looks to clinch and Carr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Templeton lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Carr is breathing heavily. Templeton has Carr pressed against the cage, preventing Carr from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Templeton is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Knees in the clinch landing for Templeton.

Carr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Templeton tries a knee to the head but Carr blocks it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Carr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Templeton keeps working. Templeton is looking to improve his position.
Carr decides to return to a standing position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Templeton has his takedown stuffed and Carr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Templeton throws a series of punches but Carr moves out of range. Templeton wants to clinch but Carr slips to the side and Carr counters with a good low kick that Templeton was not able to check. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elijah Carr will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carr, into his guard. Carr can't keep his opponent in guard - Templeton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Templeton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Templeton pulls his head out easily. Templeton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Templeton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Carr! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Templeton wants to control the pace but Carr is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Templeton lands a big shot there that rocks Carr but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Templeton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Carr is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Carr and Templeton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Carr can't do much from the bottom here. Templeton trying to control the action but Carr is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Templeton advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Templeton stands up from mount. Strange move. Carr takes a kick to the side of the head. Templeton wants to clinch and Carr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Templeton keeping full guard, as Carr tries to pass. Carr stopping the sweep attempt from Templeton. Carr looking to sit in guard and control but Templeton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Templeton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Carr lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Templeton! Templeton is trying to stand. Carr controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Carr dominated that second round. That's time! Carr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Templeton is pushing Carr up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Templeton is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Templeton prevents Carr from breaking the clinch. Templeton with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Templeton keeps control of Carr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Carr tightens his grip and picks Templeton up, before dumping him to the ground. Templeton manages to land in guard. Carr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Templeton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Templeton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Templeton! Carr is trying to get back to half guard. Carr wants to control but Templeton postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Templeton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Templeton throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Carr is not content to let Templeton control the position. Carr is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Carr manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr pushes Templeton off looking to stand but Templeton dives back in and keeps control.
Templeton is looking to take a break and control but Carr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Templeton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carr is just riding it out for now. Templeton eventually gives up the hold. Carr tries to get to full guard but Templeton has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Templeton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Templeton tries to clinch up and Carr counters with a nice double leg into guard. Carr wants to pass the guard but Templeton is keeping the position. Templeton preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Levi Templeton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carr throws and elbow that misses. Templeton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Carr's guard. Nice move by Templeton! Elijah Carr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Templeton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Templeton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Elijah Carr showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
