Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ville Horror! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace misses with a wild combination.
Horror has managed to clinch.
Horror wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Horror wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wallace gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wallace throwing strikes from guard but Horror blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horror is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wallace is controlling him. Wallace sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Horror's guard. Horror is trying to stand back up but Wallace is controlling him
Wallace throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wallace is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Horror won't allow Wallace to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Horror is just riding it out for now. Wallace eventually gives up the hold. Horror tries to kick Wallace off but Wallace keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wallace is looking for a kimura here.
Wallace is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Horror has managed to free his arm - good work. Wallace is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wallace is thwarting Horror's attempts to control the position. Wallace is working for a submission of some sort.
Wallace is breathing heavily. Wallace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Horror sees it coming and defends easily. Horror is defending against the submission attempts here by Wallace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace misses with a head shot. Horror uses the momentum to regain guard. Horror is looking to stand up but Wallace isn't so interested in that idea. Wallace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wallace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Horror has his feet on Wallace's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Horror drops Wallace with a beautiful combination! Wallace stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Horror is looking for the KO!
It looks like William Wallace has been cut. Horror falls off balance throwing a combination
so Wallace counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Horror has control of Wallace's left arm, preventing Wallace from doing any damage. Horror lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wallace! Horror throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wallace because Horror loaded up on that one. Wallace is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Horror looking to finish Wallace with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wallace! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Horror lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wallace hang on? Wallace is looking to get to half guard. Horror with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ville Horror dominated that round. The cut man is working on William Wallace's cut. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Horror fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Horror throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallace. Wallace misses the shot to the body. A punch combination from Horror misses. Wallace misses with a series of wild punches.
Horror dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Horror throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wallace counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Horror's guard now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Horror looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallace is one step ahead there. Horror really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wallace wants to pass the guard but Horror is keeping the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wallace thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Horror wants to sweep but no luck. Wallace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wallace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Horror manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Horror drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace is looking for a sweep. Horror is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horror working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Horror scores with punches from side control. Horror wants to stand but Wallace is controlling his arm. Wallace is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horror tries for a kimura but Wallace is defending well. Wallace gets back to half guard. Wallace looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Horror seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Horror wants to stand up but Wallace is controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Horror avoids the head kick by Wallace.
Wallace with a poor takedown and Horror counters with a one-two to the body. Horror misses with a two punch combination.
Horror tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance. Wallace circles away from the clinch attempt and Wallace counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Horror can do anything to dispel that myth. Wallace drops back looking for a leg! Horror is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Horror manages to kick Wallace off! Wallace jumps back into Horror's guard. Wallace trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Horror is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wallace, into his guard. Horror trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wallace's guard. Wallace avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Horror working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Horror is posturing up here but Wallace has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Horror tries to roll out but it's too tight and Horror has to tap! Slick submission there by Wallace!
