PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Roque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jolley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roque's entrance music is Parangolé - Balacobaco. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roque avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jolley tries to clinch but Roque moves out of range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Roque looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jolley! Submission of the night perhaps?
