Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silvu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyller Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brooks as he jumps to the side.
Brooks takes the fight into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Nice body punch from Brooks.
Brooks jumps into guard, dragging Silvu to the mat.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brooks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silvu looks up at the clock and then as Brooks takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Silvu smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
You can see the frustration on Brooks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Silvu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Brooks some visible discomfort.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silvu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brooks down.
Brooks wants to control but Silvu postures up.
Silvu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brooks keeps working.
Silvu scores with a couple of short elbows.
Brooks tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silvu presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Silvu lands a nice shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silvu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brooks sprawls well initially but Silvu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silvu works his foot free and advances to mount.

Brooks really wants to buck Silvu off and get back to his feet.
Silvu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Brooks has managed to escape the submission attempt.
