Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grenoble dodges the punch combination from oconnor.
oconnor shoots in for a double leg but Grenoble sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
oconnor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Grenoble looking for a sweep. Not yet Grenoble, not yet.
Grenoble is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Grenoble pulls oconnor in to control the position.
oconnor trying to control the position from guard on top but Grenoble is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
oconnor wants to pass the guard but Grenoble is keeping the position.
Grenoble keeping moving, preventing oconnor from controlling successfully.
oconnor working some strikes from top position.

oconnor looking to sit in guard and control but Grenoble gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
oconnor throws his legs up looking for a submission but Grenoble uses it to pass to side control.
Grenoble wants to control but oconnor is keeping him busy.
oconnor parries the strikes from Grenoble easily there. Grenoble is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable oconnor to escape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
oconnor is not content to let Grenoble control the position.
oconnor wants to control but Grenoble postures up.
Grenoble tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Grenoble scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at oconnor to see if he's OK.

oconnor is trying to control Grenoble's posture but Grenoble avoids it.
oconnor tries to improve position but can't.
Grenoble thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Grenoble is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. oconnor looks calm but he's in trouble here. Grenoble gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. oconnor is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Grenoble lets go of the hold and oconnor can pop his arm back in it's socket.
