Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between raul hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver Surfer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Silver Surfer!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch but Surfer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
hernandez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
hernandez misses with a knee strike.
Surfer has clasped his hands together around hernandez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
hernandez takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like raul hernandez has been cut.
hernandez wants to control but Surfer postures up.
Surfer cracks hernandez with a big right hand but hernandez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Surfer thuds a left hand into hernandez's body.

Silver Surfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Surfer circles away from the clinch attempt.

Surfer lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops hernandez to his knees! Surfer keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
