Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gordon Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey lands a head kick. Storm smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ramsey misses with a wild combination.
Ramsey tries to clinch there but Storm circles away.
Storm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramsey is fending him off so far but Storm persists. Nope, Ramsey circles away and we're back to standing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ramsey.
Storm fails to land the takedown.
Ramsey misses with a low kick.
Storm takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ramsey throws a right and a left that both miss.
An inside leg kick lands from Ramsey.
Ramsey throws a series of punches but Storm avoids them all with ease.
Ramsey throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gordon Ramsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramsey throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ramsey getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Storm takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ramsey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Storm.

Storm looks for a takedown but Ramsey sprawls well.
Gordon Ramsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Storm.

Ramsey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Storm. Storm circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Storm avoids the head kick by Ramsey.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ramsey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Ramsey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Storm working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Storm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Storm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramsey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Storm has Ramsey in his guard.
Storm throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Storm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ramsey has gone for a leg lock! Storm slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ramsey's guard.

Storm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Storm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ramsey has his foot on Storm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Storm works his way back into a safe position though.

Ramsey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Storm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Storm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Storm wants to control from the top but Ramsey keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ramsey is working an open guard so Storm takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ramsey misses with a hook.
Ramsey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Storm paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ramsey is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A head kick misses from Ramsey.
Ramsey missing with a left hand there. Storm was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Storm shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ramsey is staying active underneath Storm, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ramsey is looking for a sweep. Storm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ramsey is trying to stand back up but Storm is controlling him

Ramsey is defending against the submission attempts here by Storm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramsey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ramsey is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Good leg kick by Ramsey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ramsey wants to clinch up but Storm keeps it at a distance.
Ramsey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Storm moves out of range of the leg kick from Ramsey.
Storm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ramsey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Storm somewhat.
Ramsey throws a series of punches but Storm moves out of range.

Storm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ramsey is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Storm tries for a kimura but Ramsey is defending well.
Storm working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Ramsey parries the strikes from Storm easily there. Storm is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ramsey to escape.
Storm working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Storm tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ramsey looks to move to half guard but instead Storm has passed into mount! Damn!
Ramsey tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Storm throwing strikes here but Ramsey is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Storm is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ramsey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Storm seems to be looking for submissions.
Ramsey is looking to escape.

Storm in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ramsey tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Storm!
