Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Stark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ron France! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! France throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stark. A head kick misses from France. Stark missing with a left hand there. France was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stark feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stark stopping the sweep attempt from France. Stark looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stark is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark sitting in guard here, content to control. Stark lands a couple of elbows. France wants to stand but Stark is controlling the position. Stark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stark thows a big elbow that misses. France keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully. Stark throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as France works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stark slips nicely into half guard. France has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stark is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stark wants to pass to mount but France is defending the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. France fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stark is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ron France is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stark throws a big shot that misses. Stark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but France moves away. Stark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. France trying to control from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stark lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark working over France with some ground and pound. France looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if France can do anything to dispel that myth. France is trying to stand up here but Stark is controlling him well. Stark is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and France defends it well. Stark not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stark looks to land a strike but France avoids it nicely and regains full guard. France is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stark is controlling him. Stark trying to control but France is working from the bottom. Stark throwing strikes from guard but France blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. France wants to stand and escape but Stark is having none of it. Stark controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. France listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. France wants to clinch and Stark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stark scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Stark working the ground and pound. Stark sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but France is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stark fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Stark dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stark lands a jab to the nose. Stark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but France was well out of range. Poor timing from Stark. Some wild striking there from France.
Stark throws a jab but it's blocked by France. France slips under a jab from Stark. France ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jab by Stark. France throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stark counters with a takedown into side control. Stark throws a strike aimed at the side of France's head but France avoids it well. Stark passes to full mount! That's big trouble for France! Stark raining down shots from the mount! Stark lands a big shot there that rocks France but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stark is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. France can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark with the ground and pound from mount.
France is rocked! Stark postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt France bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Stark and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Stark!
