Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Woodhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Job Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Woodhall could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Job Thunder's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Woodhall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Job Thunder!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder tries to clinch up but Woodhall circles away and keeps his distance.

Thunder bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Woodhall struggling a bit here.
Woodhall tries to buck Thunder off but Thunder is having none of it.
Woodhall regains half guard.
Thunder slows the pace down in half guard.
Woodhall landing strikes from the bottom.
Thunder is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Woodhall wants to improve his position but Thunder is controlling well.
Thunder trying to control from half guard but Woodhall is working away.
Woodhall is looking to improve his position.
Woodhall is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thunder is keen to just control but Woodhall is a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Thunder misses with a few strikes there.
Woodhall tries for a takedown but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Thunder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Woodhall is breathing heavily.
Thunder trying to control but Woodhall is working from the bottom.
Woodhall doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Thunder keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Woodhall's head.
Woodhall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thunder wants to control from the top but Woodhall keeps moving.
Thunder passes Woodhall's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Thunder is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Woodhall!

Woodhall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Woodhall wants to sweep but no luck.

Woodhall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thunder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Thunder manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Woodhall seems keen to control Thunder's posture.
Thunder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Thunder takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Woodhall gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Thunder counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Woodhall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thunder is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Thunder changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Woodhall fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Thunder shoots for a double leg takedown but Woodhall sprawls well. He's pushed Thunder's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Thunder decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Woodhall's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thunder gets to his feet. Woodhall looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Thunder shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Woodhall counters with a shoot takedown. Thunder fights it but they end up in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Woodhall trying to control the position from guard on top but Thunder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Woodhall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Job Thunder dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Thunder wants to control from the top but Woodhall keeps moving.

Woodhall is looking for a triangle but Thunder pushes his legs off easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Thunder darts in trying to clinch
and Woodhall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Thunder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Woodhall won't allow Thunder to pass to mount.

Woodhall gets back to full guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Thunder. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Woodhall wants to sweep but no luck.
Woodhall looking to control.
Woodhall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thunder manages to get himself to full guard.

Woodhall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Woodhall connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Thunder some visible discomfort.

Thunder is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Woodhall's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Woodhall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Thunder doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Woodhall.
Woodhall seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Thunder is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Thunder postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Woodhall looks a forlorn figure.

Woodhall sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Thunder is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Woodhall reverses the position - he's now on top in Thunder's guard.

Thunder lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Woodhall!

Job Thunder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Woodhall stuffs the takedown attempt from Thunder. Thunder gets slowly back to his feet.

Thunder darts in and clinches Woodhall up against the cage.
Thunder gets underhooks to prevent Woodhall's takedown attempt.
Thunder goes for a takedown in the clinch but Woodhall prevents it.

Thunder has picked Woodhall up - he's going for a ride! Thunder dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Woodhall lands with a few short shots to the body.
Woodhall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Thunder.
Woodhall tries to kick Thunder off but Thunder keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Woodhall looking for submissions off his back.
Woodhall gets back to full guard.

Woodhall looking for a triangle here. Thunder is fighting it but it looks tight! Woodhall pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Thunder is tapping out - this one is all over!
