Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Bordoada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sebastian Bordoada is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tito Tan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Bordoada!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bordoada is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tan!

Bordoada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tan wants to control from the top but Bordoada keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bordoada working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bordoada has his foot on Tan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tan works his way back into a safe position though.

Tan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bordoada looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bordoada looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bordoada!

The fight stays on the outside here - Bordoada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bordoada off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sebastian Bordoada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
