Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shoju Bayushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Quixote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bayushi comes to the ring accompanied by Masta Killa. Quixote comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pantera - Domination kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Don Quixote has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoju Bayushi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Quixote! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quixote drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bayushi controls Quixote momentarily but Quixote frees himself. Bayushi is looking for a triangle but Quixote pushes his legs off easily.
Quixote got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bayushi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quixote has managed to get both his arms back between Bayushi's legs - danger averted. Quixote postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bayushi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Quixote, into his guard. Bayushi thows a big elbow that misses. Bayushi wants to control from the top but Quixote keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Quixote trying to control the position.
Quixote trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Quixote looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bayushi trying to control the position from guard on top but Quixote is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quixote tries to land a sweep but no joy. Quixote not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bayushi tries for a takedown but Quixote circles away easily so Quixote counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bayushi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Quixote defends it easily. Quixote got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bayushi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quixote has managed to get both his arms back between Bayushi's legs - danger averted. Quixote trying to control but Bayushi is working from the bottom. Quixote looking to pass the guard. Bayushi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quixote can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Quixote wants to control from the top but Bayushi keeps moving. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quixote accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Quixote is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bayushi is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Quixote shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Quixote showed some decent athleticism there. Quixote trying to control from half guard but Bayushi is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bayushi is trying to control but can't.
Bayushi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bayushi. Quixote stopping the sweep attempt from Bayushi. Quixote drops back looking for a leg! Bayushi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bayushi manages to kick Quixote off! Quixote jumps back into Bayushi's guard. Quixote looks gassed! Quixote throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Quixote got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bayushi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quixote has managed to get both his arms back between Bayushi's legs - danger averted. Bayushi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Quixote might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bayushi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bayushi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Quixote trying to control but Bayushi is working from the bottom. Bayushi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quixote doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quixote manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bayushi is trying to keep Quixote in close.

That was a close round but I would say that Shoju Bayushi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Quixote scores with a takedown into Bayushi's guard. Bayushi keeping moving, preventing Quixote from controlling successfully. Bayushi is looking for a triangle but Quixote pushes his legs off easily.
Bayushi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Quixote frees his head nicely. Oh but Bayushi has switched to an armbar! Quixote is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
