Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard.
Lee is trying to stand back up but Soto is controlling him
Soto looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Soto's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Soto has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Luiz Soto.
Lee tries to bum rush Soto with a series of wild strikes but Soto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Soto has Lee pressed against the ropes, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lee looks to land a left hand but Soto moved out of range nicely.

Soto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Soto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lee is trying to stand up here but Soto is controlling him well.
Soto is looking to advance position but Lee won't allow it.
Soto has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Soto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Lee throws a big shot that misses.

Soto shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Soto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
