The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage lands with a good body shot.
Watson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rage wants it to stay on the feet.
Rage misses with a hook. Watson ducked under it nicely.

Rage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Watson circles away quickly and effectively.

Horrible takedown by Watson or perhaps it was just good defense by Rage which made him look bad.
Rage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Watson moves away.
Rage throws a hook to the side of Watson's head but Watson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Watson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Watson has hold of Rage's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rage manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Rage wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Watson.

Rage fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Watson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gunner Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson is breathing heavily.
Rage looks to land a right hand but Watson moved out of range.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rage as he avoids it easily.
Gunner Rage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Watson.
Rage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Watson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rage dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rage swings for the body but Watson moves out of range.
Rage lands with a nice body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rage moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Rage Rushes Watson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Watson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Rage Piles on the pressure and Watson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
