Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Arona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dikkie Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricardo Arona!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dikkie Dirk!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirk closes the distance and clinches.
Arona drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dirk pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice takedown defense from Arona. No joy for Dirk on that attempt.
Arona throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dirk was covering up waiting for the punch and Arona finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Arona drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dirk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dirk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dirk!
You can see the frustration on Arona's face as Dirk controls the position.
Arona tries to buck Dirk off but Dirk is having none of it.
Arona manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dirk manages to get to full guard.
Dirk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Arona can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Arona postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dirk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Arona, into his guard.

Dirk is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Arona throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dirk escapes and throws Arona's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Arona is breathing heavily.
Dirk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arona is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Arona is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Arona is staying active underneath Dirk, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Arona is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dirk pulls his head out easily.
Dirk is keen to just control but Arona is a slippery customer.
Arona is looking to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dirk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dirk manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Arona drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dirk dives on top into guard.
Dirk trying to control but Arona is working from the bottom.

Arona is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dirk is aware though and is defending well.
Arona tries to strike from the bottom.
Dirk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arona. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Arona wants to sweep here but Dirk controlling him for the moment.
Dirk content to stall in guard here.
Arona is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dirk is trying to get back to full guard.
Dirk is defending against the submission attempts here by Arona.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Arona is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dirk has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dirk trying to hold on to Arona's head to control him but Arona postures up.
Dirk tries to roll over but Arona keeps him under control.
Dirk wants to control but Arona is keeping busy.
Arona is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dikkie Dirk will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Arona with a poor takedown
and Dirk counters with a right hand to the body.
No luck for Dirk with that takedown attempt.
Arona avoids the head kick by Dirk.
Arona tries for a takedown but Dirk circles away easily
and Dirk counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dirk.
Dirk is pressed up against the cage. Arona has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dirk down to the mat. Dirk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Arona. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dirk instigates a clinch.
Dirk pulls guard effortlessly.
Arona has gone for a leg lock! Dirk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Arona's guard.
Arona working for a triangle but Dirk defends it easily.
Dirk throwing strikes but missing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dirk showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Dirk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dirk trying to control the position from guard on top but Arona is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dirk is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Arona is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dirk defends well.

Dirk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Arona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dirk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Arona keeping full guard, as Dirk tries to pass.
Arona is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dirk rolls with it to try and escape but Arona cranks on the arm and Dirk is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
