Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mihail Korsanow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagner Camara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mihail Korsanow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wagner Camara!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Korsanow tries to avoid it but Camara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Korsanow to the ground. Korsanow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Camara plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Korsanow misses with a takedown attempt
and Camara counters with a thumping low kick.

Camara moves into the clinch.
Korsanow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Camara smiles and moves away.

Camara drives through and clinches with Korsanow against the cage.

Camara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Camara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Korsanow swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Korsanow misses with a body shot.
Camara is looking to clinch but Korsanow is avoiding it.

Camara closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Camara using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Camara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Camara shoots and misses
and Korsanow counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Camara tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Korsanow counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Korsanow has gone for a leg lock! Camara slips out almost immediately though and dives into Korsanow's guard.

Korsanow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Korsanow is breathing heavily.
Camara has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Korsanow is proving hard to escape from.
Camara looking to pass the guard.
Camara wants to control from the top but Korsanow keeps moving.
Camara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Korsanow working for submissions but it's allowed Camara to get to half guard.
Camara is looking to take a break and control but Korsanow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Camara decides to stand up.
Wagner Camara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Korsanow blocks a head kick by Camara.

Camara moves into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Camara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Camara moves in looking to clinch but Korsanow pushes him off.
Camara fails with an attempt to clinch.
Camara doesn't manage to clinch there - Korsanow circles away.
Camara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Korsanow swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Camara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Korsanow has his foot on Camara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Camara works his way back into a safe position though.

Korsanow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Camara gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Camara wants to stand but Korsanow is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Korsanow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Camara is aware though and is defending well.

Korsanow looking for a triangle here. Camara is fighting it but it looks tight! Korsanow pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Camara is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mihail Korsanow!
