Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sakara tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sakara shoots in but no luck this time.
Sakara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wanderlei Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devid Sakara.
Sakara is looking to land body kicks.
Sakara moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Sakara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Sakara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sakara tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Silva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sakara.

Still in the clinch, Silva scores with a nice short uppercut.

Silva drops Sakara with a big knee straight up the middle! Sakara is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
