Pembelton comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary. Cleftchin has chosen Face Fisted as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Pembelton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dirk Cleftchin!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cleftchin throws a right and a left that Pembelton avoids nicely.
Cleftchin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pembelton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pembelton shoots in but no luck this time.
Cleftchin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cleftchin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cleftchin.
Pembelton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cleftchin circles away.
Pembelton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Pembelton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pembelton is breathing heavily.
Cleftchin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cleftchin is trying to break the clinch but Pembelton has him pressed against the cage.
Pembelton turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Cleftchin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cleftchin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cleftchin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pembelton is controlling him.
Cleftchin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Cleftchin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pembelton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cleftchin circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Pembelton drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cleftchin follows Pembelton to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
