Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Night Diving kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Victor Drago has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds loads up on a big right hand but Drago slips the punch.
Drago uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reynolds.
Reynolds keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Drago pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Reynolds.
Drago scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Reynolds pushes Drago away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Drago gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drago has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Reynolds misses with the combination.
Drago scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reynolds doesn't seem bothered though.

Drago shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reynolds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Drago stands up and waves to Reynolds to follow him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Drago fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reynolds looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Drago throws a leg kick which misses Reynolds's front leg but catches the back leg as Reynolds tries to avoid it.

Drago throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Drago moves into range and clinches up with Reynolds.
Drago jumps guard and drags Reynolds to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Reynolds is looking for a sweep. Drago is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Drago wants to free his trapped foot but Reynolds is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Drago is taking a breather. Reynolds says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Drago stands up out of the half guard.
Drago blocks a jab.
Drago has Reynolds up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Drago breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reynolds scores with a one two! Drago had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reynolds is trying hard to land a takedown here. Drago sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Drago fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reynolds avoids it really well and circles away.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reynolds swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drago dives in and grabs Reynolds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reynolds pushes down on Drago's head and hops out.

The referee asks Drago politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drago prefers to stall for the moment though.

and Drago counters with a head kick. That will keep Reynolds thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch but Reynolds swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Drago is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reynolds's half guard.

Drago tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Drago is riding his opponent, not letting Reynolds buck him off.
Drago has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Drago's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Reynolds tries for a takedown but Drago sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Drago looks to score with a jab to the body but Reynolds is just out of range.

I would just about give that final round to Matt Reynolds.
Well Drago has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
