Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Travin Mallard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Bulic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bulic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mallard avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bulic.
Bulic trying to control the action but Mallard is working from the bottom.
Bulic tries to score with some ground and pound. Mallard controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Mallard wants to control but Bulic postures up.
Bulic wants to control but Mallard is keeping him busy.
Mallard tries to buck Bulic off but Bulic is having none of it.
Mallard dodges the ground and pound from Bulic.
Mallard is not content to let Bulic control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bulic lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mallard will feel that in the morning.
Bulic throws a quick inside leg kick.

Bulic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mallard is fending him off so far but Bulic persists. Nope, Mallard circles away and we're back to standing.
Mallard throws a right and a left that Bulic avoids nicely.
Mallard defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bulic.
Mallard misses with a series of wild punches.
Mallard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bulic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Travin Mallard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mat Bulic.

Mallard throws a left that rocks Bulic and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Mallard dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Bulic regain composure!

Mallard is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bulic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mallard looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bulic is avoiding damage well.
Bulic is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Mallard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mallard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mallard has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Mallard wants to finish this one by submission but Bulic is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mallard.

Bulic wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Mallard has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Bulic taps furiously! This one is all over!
