PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Negative Nancy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I put on for my city. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nancy lands a head shot.
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nancy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nancy works the jab nicely.
Robinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nancy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Nancy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nancy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Robinson tries to clinch but Nancy moves out of range.
A jab lands there for Nancy.

Nancy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Robinson at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nancy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Robinson takes a step back to recover.
Robinson looks gassed!
Nancy lands with an uppercut that bounces Robinson off the cage and back into rage.
Nancy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nancy thumps Robinson with a low kick.
Nancy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Nancy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nancy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nancy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Nancy drops Robinson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Robinson looks back up at him and smiles so Nancy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Robinson is rocked!
Nancy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Robinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Nancy finish him?
Robinson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nancy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Robinson in his tracks.
Robinson tries to bum rush Nancy with a series of wild strikes but Nancy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Braden Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nancy connects with a looping right hand.
Nancy punishes Robinson's body with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robinson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Nancy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Robinson. Nancy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
