Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jack matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Jericko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jericko's choice of entrance music: target=blank>Jericko. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
matador forces Jericko back against the cage and clinches.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jericko obliges.
Jericko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
matador drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jericko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but matador is keeping busy.
matador drags the fight down to the ground.
Jericko would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jericko wanted to stand there but matador had control of the position.
matador wants to sweep here but Jericko controlling him for the moment.

matador manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
matador can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jericko is looking to escape.

matador postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jericko looks a forlorn figure.

matador is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jericko can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Jericko wants to get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! matador connects with a massive shot to the dome!
matador pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jericko looks gassed!

matador lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jericko hang on?
matador is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jericko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jericko is trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

matador has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jericko's face.

matador's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

matador lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, matador cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
matador shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
matador has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
matador uses his free foot to push down on Jericko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jericko.
matador with shots to the head and body - Jericko looks very uncomfortable down there.

matador takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

matador is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jericko is forced to tap! Great finish!
