The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrone gets a takedown into half guard.

Tyrone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyrone seems to be looking for submissions.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Tyrone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Tyrone eventually gives up the hold.

Silva wants to improve his position but Tyrone is controlling well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Tyrone's front leg but catches the back leg as Tyrone tries to avoid it.

Silva manages to pull guard.
Silva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Tyrone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tyrone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tyrone has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tyrone is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tyrone hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
