The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titian is looking to clinch.
A combination from Richardson does no damage.

Titian wants to clinch but Richardson slips to the side
and Richardson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Titian's guard now.
Titian has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Titian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Richardson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Titian just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Richardson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Titian can do anything to dispel that myth.
Titian utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Richardson stands and throws Titian's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Titian is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Richardson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Richardson will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
