Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Potato Head Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rermes Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Potato Head Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rermes Gracie! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob lands a jab to Gracie's midsection. Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bob is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Bob circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Bob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gracie tries for a takedown but Bob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Potato Head Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rermes Gracie. Bob lands a right hook to the body.
Bob stuffs the takedown. Bob jabs at Gracie's body. Gracie looks gassed! Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bob. Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Bob. Bob throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.
It looks like Rermes Gracie has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Bob stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bob wants it to stay on the feet. Bob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Bob sits in half guard. Bob is working for a kimura but Gracie is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bob in particular looking to stall. Bob is trying to work for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.
Bob is looking for a kimura but Gracie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bob to get the leverage. Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bob pulls his head out easily. Bob wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bob missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bob lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.
Gracie misses with a takedown and Bob counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bob scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Gracie walks into a stiff left hand from Bob. Bob scores with a decent looking hook. A shot to the liver by Bob. Beautiful body shot. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bob counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bob lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Bob lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gracie takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nice body punch from Bob. Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bob throws a leg kick that misses. Bob fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bob dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bob scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bob tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bob scores with a punch to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bob lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gracie fails with the takedown and Bob counters with a stiff right hand.
Gracie is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bob counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bob passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gracie! Gracie is trying to escape the mount but Bob keeps good control and instead manages to take Gracie's back.
Bob gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Bob doesn't have the hooks in and Gracie manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bob bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard. Bob is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Bob has managed to sneak the leg through. Bob looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Potato Head Bob dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rermes Gracie's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bob throws a shot to the body.
Potato Head Bob is winning the standup battle so far. Nice uppercut lands for Bob. That snapped Gracie's head back.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bob is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie. Bob darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bob trying to control from half guard but Gracie is working away. Bob wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position. Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bob pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bob is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it. Bob is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob passes the guard and advances to mount! Gracie working to try and regain half guard.
Bob takes Gracie's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Gracie is in trouble. Bob is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Bob looking to break Gracie's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gracie remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bob will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob is trying to stick to Gracie's back but Gracie is turning into Bob. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bob's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gracie. Bob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bob passes into half guard. Bob trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it. Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Bob throwing strikes here but Gracie is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bob misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Bob takes Gracie's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Gracie is in trouble. Gracie rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gracie actively working from the bottom here. Bob seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bob is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie is not content to let Bob control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Potato Head Bob dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rermes Gracie's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bob looking to control.

Bob with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bob prevents Gracie from getting the reversal. Bob trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bob is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bob wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Bob is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer. Gracie actively working from the bottom here. Bob is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gracie has managed to free his arm - good work.

Bob quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Bob but it's paid off an Gracie is forced to tap! Nice work by Bob.
