Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Caraway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Shamrock struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. James Caraway has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Caraway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Shamrock! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Caraway. Shamrock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caraway was well out of range. Poor timing from Shamrock. Caraway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shamrock moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Caraway misses with a wild combination.
Caraway tests Shamrock's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Shane Shamrock has been cut. Shamrock looks gassed! A left lands for Caraway.
Shamrock is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caraway ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Caraway looks to score with a jab to the body but Shamrock is just out of range. Caraway lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shamrock at a distance.
Shamrock should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Caraway tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Shamrock is able to avoid easily. Caraway looks to land a combination but Shamrock avoids it well. Shamrock moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A punch lands to the side of Shamrock 's head but he takes it in his stride. Shamrock is still on wobbly legs! Can Caraway finish him? Shamrock looks up at the clock. Bad move! Caraway lands a right hand from hell, dropping Shamrock. Caraway pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Caraway!
