Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Bruzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruzinski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hello. Vladimir Bruzinski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ronald Kray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Bruzinski! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruzinski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bruzinski looking to control.
Bruzinski controlling the position. Bruzinski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kray is working Bruzinski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bruzinski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kray working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bruzinski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kray is one step ahead there. Kray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kray postures up in Bruzinski's guard and throws a big left but Bruzinski blocks it. Bruzinski trying to control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kray gets the takedown into side control. Kray takes a little break here. Bruzinski wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bruzinski is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kray off and has taken his back! Bruzinski controlling well, preventing Kray from escaping the position.

I really don't envy Kray right now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruzinski throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kray!
Bruzinski is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Kray. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Kray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kray has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Bruzinski. Bruzinski throwing wild punches that miss their target. Kray is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Bruzinski 's hooks. Bruzinski trying to control but Kray is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kray is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kray wants to hold on but Bruzinski pushes him away. Bruzinski misses with a head shot. Bruzinski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bruzinski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kray is surviving well by controlling Bruzinski's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronald Kray dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bruzinski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ronald Kray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kray closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bruzinski to the mat! Bruzinski manages to get full guard. Bruzinski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kray chips away with some ground and pound. Kray throws a big right hand that misses. Kray is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kray is looking to work some ground and pound but Bruzinski has wrist control. Bruzinski wants to sweep here but Kray controlling him for the moment. Kray has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kray is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kray postures up in Bruzinski's guard and throws a big left but Bruzinski blocks it. Bruzinski keeping moving, preventing Kray from controlling successfully. Kray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kray is working Bruzinski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kray trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kray dives in and grabs Bruzinski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruzinski pushes down on Kray's head and hops out. Bruzinski moves away from the strike by Kray. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bruzinski is defended easily by Kray. Kray closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kray lands in his opponent's guard. Bruzinski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruzinski lands an upkick as Kray stands over him. Kray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bruzinski holds on and takes a little breather. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kray accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kray scoring with punches to the head and body. Kray trying to control but Bruzinski is working from the bottom. Bruzinski trying to strike off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bruzinski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kray.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bruzinski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bruzinski stalling. Kray trying to control but Bruzinski postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bruzinski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kray is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kray has escaped and now he's on top! Ronald Kray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kray lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kray trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kray keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bruzinski's head. Bruzinski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kray wants to control from the top but Bruzinski keeps moving. Kray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kray controlling from the top position. Kray trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kray throws a big right hand that misses. Bruzinski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kray. Kray trying to control the position from guard on top but Bruzinski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kray landing with the ground and pound. Kray postures up in Bruzinski's guard and throws a big left but Bruzinski blocks it.

Kray misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruzinski's waist but Bruzinski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kray off to one side. Ronald Kray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bruzinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Kray sprawls well. He's pushed Bruzinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kray loads up on a big right hand but Bruzinski slips the punch. Kray gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bruzinski. Kray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruzinski's waist but Bruzinski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kray off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronald Kray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice shot by Bruzinski. A nice inside leg kick there by Bruzinski. That's going to slow Kray down. A punch lands to the side of Kray 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kray is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bruzinski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kray takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bruzinski lands with a nice body kick. Bruzinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Kray sprawls well. He's pushed Bruzinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kray fails with the takedown and Bruzinski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kray won't be happy with that. Vladimir Bruzinski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kray is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bruzinski is controlling him well. Bruzinski lands a nice forearm strike. Bruzinski lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kray down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kray is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bruzinski's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bruzinski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bruzinski prevents Kray from improving his position. Bruzinski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladimir Bruzinski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kray has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
