Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Salazaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazaar comes to the cage accompanied by Ton of Bricks. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Salazaar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Drago! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago slaps away a takedown attempt from Salazaar, before circling back to the center of the mat. Salazaar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No luck for Salazaar with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Salazaar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salazaar loads up on a big right hand but Drago slips the punch. Drago throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Drago fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Salazaar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drago but Drago pushes him off and we're back to square one. Salazaar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Salazaar gets the takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Salazaar working the ground and pound but Drago is defending the strikes. Drago manages to work his way to half guard, despite Salazaar's best efforts. Salazaar is trying to control the action in half guard but Drago is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Drago is looking to improve his position.
Drago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drago wants to stand and escape but Salazaar is having none of it. Salazaar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drago is keeping the position for now. Salazaar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Salazaar is working hard here to advance position. Drago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Salazaar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Salazaar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Drago has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Salazaar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Salazaar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salazaar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Salazaar is aware though and is defending well. Salazaar stops Drago from standing up. Drago looks gassed! Salazaar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drago's guard. Salazaar is looking to advance position but Drago won't allow it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Salazaar winds up and cracks Drago with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Salazaar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Salazaar cracks Drago with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Salazaar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salazaar landing strikes from the mount. Salazaar looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago is trying to escape the mount.

Drago is trying desperately to improve position. Drago taking shots to the head. Salazaar scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Drago?
Drago takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Salazaar's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
