The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kennedy doesn't manage to clinch there - Oneil circles away.
Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oneil swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oneil looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Well, if Oneil is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Oneil has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Kennedy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oneil on the ground.
Kennedy is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Oneil jumps into side control!

Kennedy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Oneil is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kennedy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Oneil gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kennedy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Oneil lets go of the hold and Kennedy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
